To spread the Message Of Faith throughout the nations of the world.

RECENT MISSIONS

Joice’s Story

I am Joice, 26 years old, a Victory Life International Bible College graduate. Early this year, I was blessed to have an opportunity to minister on a mission trip to Kupang, Timor Leste, in my native language. It was my first mission trip. It was a privilege to be the ambassador of Christ who unfolds God’s heart desire in His people in Timor; witnesses the move of Holy Spirit; and, especially, being used as His vessel carrying His supernatural power, miracle, and unfailing love.

This mission trip had a significant impact on my soul and Spirit. It showed me that Jesus could bring me to places I would never dream or imagine to be; to do things I did not know I am capable of, and to step up into being the person He created me to be. “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13)”, indeed. This mission trip has truly awakened and refined my Godly calling and purpose in my life. And surely, this won’t be my last – next mission: Japan!

Philippines Trip

The many islands of the Philippines make it one of the different types of places to visit and minister in. Some of our students from Victory Life International Bible College team visited Leyte Island one of the larger Islands and a smaller one called Homonhon Island.  On Homonhon Island we were able to minister to some of the people with house to house visits, praying for the sick, ministering to the children and bringing others into the reality of a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Other activities included street outreach evangelism and encouraging village pastors and their churches.

2019 Missions Trip to West Timor

West Timor mission trip has been an excellent opportunity for VLIBTC Bible College Students to taste missions in some remote village situations of West Timor. Alicia Sullivan, Katrina Haensel, Sky Sheldon, Louise Saxby and Pastors Bruce & Judy Saxby went on the trip along with some members from Pastor John Fangiddae’s church in Kupang.

It was an exciting trip from the 62 rivers crossed on some scary bridges to the evening village meetings in Fotanaus , Kolabe and Oeleu where we saw salvations and some wonderful physical healings including a little girl born deaf in one ear healed, a man with 3 stiff curled in fingers have his hand healed, and cataracts healed.

An evening meeting at Kolabe was both a spiritual and physical refreshing for the local people at one families home as it rained there during the meeting and not in nearby locations. This brought joy as the last few years have been below average rainfall for them, and our visit was in their dry season.

This year has allowed missions to continue to do great work around the world for God. Download our PDF of missions updates for 2020 to see how we’ve been able to help those around us, globally!

The Calling

Isaiah 58:6-7 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring into your house the poor who are cast out: when you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?”
